Viagra is a type of medication called a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, which works by increasing the levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). It works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, which allows for increased blood flow when an erection occurs.
The active ingredient in Viagra is sildenafil, which acts as a PDE5 inhibitor. It is a PDE5 inhibitor that blocks the enzyme that breaks down cGMP.
As with any medication, Viagra can cause side effects, but the most common ones are headache, flushing, upset stomach, and an upset stomach that last for hours or even days. The most common side effects include nasal congestion, indigestion, dizziness, and indigestion/flushing.
The side effects are usually mild and temporary, and usually subside after you’ve taken the medication for a while. In rare cases, the medication can cause more serious side effects such as a sudden decrease or loss of vision or hearing. It’s also important to consult a doctor before taking Viagra or any other ED medication, as this can help determine if a proper treatment plan is available.
Viagra, or sildenafil citrate, is a PDE5 inhibitor. When a man takes it, his body breaks down cGMP, which is what relaxes the smooth muscles around the penis. The result is increased blood flow to the penis, which can result in an erection.
Viagra works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, which allows more blood to flow into the penis. This increases the pressure in the scrotum, which allows for an erection.
Viagra also has a mechanism of action, which means it doesn’t only relax the blood vessels in the penis but also makes them more elastic, which means more blood can flow into the penis when a man is sexually aroused.
According to a study conducted by, a man who takes Viagra should experience a successful erection within 15 to 30 minutes of taking the medication. After that, it takes about five to six hours for the erection to disappear.
Viagra can be taken with or without food, but it is recommended to take it with a glass of water, as this can increase the chance of side effects.
